Cardinals Make Moves; Remaining Cards Must Make Like Clifford Franklin

I will survive.  That was the motto today around the Arizona Cardinals complex.  Today, not only do they lose Greg Toler in addition to Ryan Williams, they also announced some cuts.  Toler and Williams head to the Injured Reserve.  Their seasons are officially over.

They also cut WR Max Komar, who was a fan favorite.  I admit I am in that mix.  I wish him luck and hope he gets another shot somewhere.  The Cards also cut Charles Ali, Daiveun Curry-Chapman, Curtis Gatewood, Duke Lemmens, Eric Mensik, and Jason Speredon.  No one of much consequence, although, don’t tell that to those players.  The cuts are all too real for them this morning.  Although it is disappointing to see Komar go, I do think he became a victim of a numbers game thanks to the emergence of Andre Roberts and the contributions of DeMarco Sampson, Stephen Williams and Early Doucet.  Now it is time for the rest of the team to make like Orlando Jones‘ character Clifford Franklin in “The Replacements” and sing ” I will survive”.
