Just Chill, Cards Will Get Better

Fire Ken Whisenhunt.  Kevin Kolb sucks.  We should have picked up Donovan McNabb so we could suck this season and get Andrew Luck next season.  I’ve heard it all over the past couple of days.  Let’s get real here.  Coach Whiz is just fine.  He is not the reason this team is 1-3.  The Cards are 1-3 because they failed to execute in late game situations.  Even if he was the sole cause, let’s just remember what he’s done for this franchise since joining them in 2007.  People have short memories.

As far as Kevin Kolb goes, people need to be patient.  He didn’t have the benefit of an off-season.  I think people forget he’s been here for all of two months at this point.  Could he be playing better?  Absolutely.  Are they better off with Kolb behind center?  You bet your bottom dollar.  Anyone who thinks otherwise has no clue.  None.

I am no “expert” trust me.  However I know when I see improvement when I see it.  The quarterback position HAS improved and I expect it to get even much better, even if it takes until the end of this season leading into next.  I am excited to see what Kolb can do next year and beyond.  That doesn’t mean I don’t want him playing better now.  I do.  We all do, obviously.  His time will come to shine.  Whether it is this week or next year, give it time.  Just chill.
