Cardinals Beanie Wells Hurt…Again

Beanie Wells left the game and walked off to the locker room with an apparent knee sprain.  The Arizona Cardinals running back, oft-injured, found a new injury to nurse.  Color me surprised.  The big surprise now will be if he returns to the game at all.

There is no word yet on the severity of the injury.  Obviously, it is not good news if he can’t return and then he leaves the running game in the hands again of Alfonso Smith.  Smith did have a TD after Wells left the game.  The Cards will not be able to control the ball against the Pittsburgh Steelers without the assistance of a running game, no matter how good Kevin Kolb plays.
