Arizona Cardinals Look to be at Close to Full Strength on Sunday

With the probable return of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb and the emergence of running back Beanie Wells being able to play through injury and playing well, it appears the Cards could be at close to full strength this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys for the first time in quite some time.  Kolb will be returning from Turf Toe.  Word is his toe is looking and feeling a lot better this week.

Still uncertain is the status of tight end Rob Housler.  Tight end Todd Heap was active last week for the first time in awhile, however had no impact on the game in St. Louis.  The Cards injuries have been many but they’ve been no different than most other NFL teams.

Many teams have gone though losing their quarterbacks, their running backs and receivers.  The Cards have experienced some of that too but there is a difference between the Cards losing top skill players and other teams.  The Cards can’t afford to lose their top players.  Depth is a major concern.  If they can finish out the season with a few wins it will go a long way in making this season, although still a disappointment, a good stepping stone to next season.  With a full off-season and the ability of the players to train at team facilities, should go a long way in keeping players healthy in 2012.
