REWIND: Dallas vs. Arizona, January 2, 1999

Since the Arizona Cardinals moved from St. Louis, the team has played the Dallas Cowboys in some very forgettable games.  Some of the games were played in Arizona with more Cowboys fans in the stands than Cardinals fans.

And yet there are at least a couple of games between these two teams that were very memorable.  Of course, there’s the 2008 classic, where the Cardinals beat the Cowboys in overtime on a blocked punt–and finally established themselves as a playoff caliber team.

However, the game I’ll remember most between these two teams is the Wild Card Playoff Game during the 1998 season.
