Arizona Cardinals Shouldn’t Rush Kevin Kolb

As much as I would love to see Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb back on the field this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, I would say this to the Cardinals, please don’t rush him.  It seems as if they are doing the right thing in bringing him along slowly and doing all the right things with a concussed player.  He did practice a little on Wednesday.  I would say that it is still too early to give an idea of what Sunday will bring, however I would be fine with John Skelton taking the reins for one more game.

Kolb got injured on the first drive of the game against the San Francisco 49’ers.  He was accidentally hit in the head with a knee.  He left the field and did not return.  Skelton took over and played well once again.  He wasn’t great, but good enough to win.  He managed the game.  I don’t think that would be too much to ask against the Browns.

The Browns have a decent defense, but they are a team a lot like the St. Louis Rams, a team with little offense.  They are also nursing a concussed quarterback in Colt McCoy.  I will never call anything easy when it comes to the Cards because just when you think you have them figured out they either surprise you, disappoint you or both.  Which one will it be this week?
