The Arizona Cardinals select 29th in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft

As we are about to fly into April, the 2016 NFL Draft is getting closer and closer.  The Arizona Cardinals select 29th in the first round.  We now have just four weeks until the big night in Chicago.

Here is a look at the draft profile of center Ryan Kelly out of Alabama.  He is a possibility for the Cardinals.

Height: 6-4

Weight: 311

The upside:

He is the top-rated center in the draft.  He is the only one projected currently as a first-round pick.  He comes off a National Championship Game with Alabama, need you say much more really?  He is a player known for his good communication and awareness according to the cbssports.com scouting report.

The downside:

His size and speed.  Graded average at both, it should be enough to overcome any teams fears though.  The NFL looks more and more at guys who can bring the skills outside of size and speed, although it would certainly help if those existed as well.

There is a good chance he could be gone by the time the Cardinals select at 29.  The Cardinals may not get the chance to upgrade the center position immediately.

What people are saying:

I saw a couple of tweets where people would like to see Kelly go to the Indianapolis Colts.  It certainly would make sense.  They need the offensive line help but he could help solidify a Cardinals line that is in need of a couple of new guys.
