The Arizona Cardinals were a mixed bag in their 23-21 loss to the New England Patriots

Some things went pretty well for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday night.  Some things went not so well for the Cardinals.  In the end, all that mattered was that the Cardinals couldn’t overcome all their short comings in their loss to the New England Patriots.

The first and third quarters were not that great.  The second and fourth quarters were much better for the Cardinals.  There are some telling signs though of things the Cardinals will need to work on going into next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Cardinals rookie Brandon Williams was picked on and rightfully so.  He will have some work to do. He’ll get there.  The Cardinals created a little bit of a pass rush.  Linebacker Chandler Jones got his first sack with the Cardinals.  Overall the Cardinals had two sacks on Patriots Jimmy Garoppolo, who was good on Sunday.

Next: The good

So now we look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from the loss.  There is plenty to go around for all three categories.
