The Arizona Cardinals will show off some new faces on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints
With all of the injuries and performance and off-the-field issues this season the Arizona Cardinals have had to deal with, changes were needed. You will see some changes on Sunday.
The Cardinals team that faced the Miami Dolphins last week in Miami is going to be a different Cardinals team that takes on the Saints. You will see changes on both sides of the ball.
The Cardinals placed three players on injured reserve this week. Gone are safeties Deone Bucannon and Tyvon Branch. Also gone is tackle Ulrick John. The Cardinals are also without tackle D.J. Humphries on Sunday due to concussion.
The Cardinals are welcoming linebacker Scooby Wright. He was a standout at the University of Arizona. He was also a player the Cardinals wanted to bring in if he went undrafted. The Cleveland Browns though drafted him in the seventh-round. His size is a factor but compares to former Cardinals and Arizona State Sun Devil Pat Tillman.

They also welcome receiver Jeremy Ross. He replaces Michael Floyd, who was cut earlier this week and picked up by the New England Patriots. Ross played in four games for the New York Jets this season.
Maybe the change many fans wanted to see the most has taken place. The Cardinals waived punter Drew Butler and replaced him with Matt Wile. Wile was signed a week ago to the practice squad. Butler’s performance in Miami was the last straw and Wile was promoted.
Tackle Givens Price was also promoted from the Cardinals practice squad. Although he’s been with the team all season, this is his first trip to the 53-man roster. They also promoted quarterback Zac Dysert as well.
With all of the changes from week-to-week, it is no wonder the Cardinals are in the position that they are. Now it’s time to see what these guys can do and if they can play their way into a shot to make the 53-man roster in 2017.
