The Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints announced their inactive players for Sunday’s game

Robert Nkemdiche, you’re welcome.  By virtue of injuries you get to see yourself on the active roster for Sunday’s Arizona Cardinals game against the New Orleans Saints.

The rookie defensive tackle is finally going to get a chance to play, supposedly.  The Cardinals will however be without several key players.

Tackle D.J. Humphries is out for Sunday’s game thanks to a concussion suffered last week at the Miami Dolphins.  He was ruled out on Friday.

Other Cardinals inactives:

CB Tharold Simon

DT Xavier Williams

QB Zac Dysert

WR Jeremy Ross

DT Olsen Pierre

DT Ed Stinson

Dysert had just been promoted this past week from the practice squad.  He likely doesn’t get a chance to play until the Cardinals have been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, something that could happen as early as today.

Ross was just picked up this week.  His inclusion on the list means John Brown will be active Sunday afternoon. This also means however that receiver Marquis Bundy is active.  He was inactive last week against the Dolphins.

Saints inactives:

LB Stephone Anthony

CB Delvin Breaux

C Jack Allen

RB/KR Marcus Murphy

W Jake Lampman

RB Daniel Lasco

LB Travis Feeney

The Saints come in with a healthy offense.  Running back Mark Ingram will play.  He’s been bothered by injury at times this season.

As for the Cardinals, safety Tyrann Mathieu plays for the first time in three weeks and just the second time since October 30th.  He could have a field day in the secondary against the Saints offense.

Also active for the Cardinals will be newcomer, linebacker Scooby Wright.  The former University of Arizona star will participate on special teams on Sunday afternoon.  It should be fun seeing what he can do.
