A Sad Passing to Report

Former Arizona Cardinals coach Gene Stallings’ son, John Mark Stallings, passed away this past Saturday at the age of 46.  If you remember back when Stallings was coach of the Cardinals, his son John Mark, who was born with Down syndrome, spent a lot of time hanging around with his dad on and off the field.

My first summer working for the Cardinals, was Stallings last.  I remember John Mark being around quite a bit and could definitely see what an inspiration he was to others around him.  He always put a smile on players and staff’s faces.

Please remember the Stallings family as they put John Mark to rest this weekend in Paris, Texas.
