Antrel Rolle NFC Defensive Player of the Week

Returning an interception of a Marc Bulger pass 40 yards for a touchdown on Sunday in St. Louis, was enough for the NFL to name Antrel Rolle the NFC Defensive Player of the Week.  That return was his fourth of his career.  His other three happened last season.

It’s a nice honor for a player from a secondary that quite honestly has been shaky at best in the season’s first half.  Consistently torched for big plays, the Cardinals secondary, although hard hitting, at times has proven to do more than bend on several occassions.  Rolle who moved to free safety this season, has been in a transition period, so this has to be exciting for him and for fans!
