Highsmith Out for Season

Lineback Ali Highsmith, rookie from LSU, has been placed on injured reserve.  On Sunday, he tore his ACL against St. Louis.  Too bad for Highsmith.  he was really starting to make an impact I believe.  Honestly, I didn’t even recognize the severity of the injury until I saw the move to put him on reserve.  Hopefully they can get in there and correct it as soon as possible.  At this point, since the injury occurred so far into the season, this will most likely impact his status for next season as well. 

His replacement is Pago Togafau, who was signed off the New Orleans Saints practice squad.
