Looks like Tavaris Jackson is on as the starter this week against the Minnesota Vikings. Jackson has not started a game since September 14th. Gus Frerotte did not practice on Thursday. It isn’t official, but all signs point to a good day for the Arizona secondary.
It’s going to be a battle in the trenches though as both Pat and Kevin Williams of the Vikings appear to be available to play as a judge extended the injunctions on their suspensions while he continues to review the suspensions for illegal substance use. That really to me is good news though believe it or not. I want the Cardinals to be able to say they defeated the Vikings with their best out there (minus Jackson).
A battle for 3rd seed is on the line Sunday. The Cards will need to bring their A game on both offense and defense.
