The Arizona Cardinals camp has almost come and gone. Not many players cut, several injured, and one loss to boot.
There is still much work to be done though even though they make the trek down the hill from Flagstaff tomorrow as they continue to prepare for the San Diego Chargers on Saturday night at University of Phoenix Stadium. The Cardinals will have two more games before the rosters must be cut to 75 by September 1st and then will have their final game in Denver before cutting to a final 53 on September 5th.
I’m sure there will be some happy players to get back to their own beds. Heck, defensive end Darnell Dockett was ready to leave Flagstaff the day they got there, at least if you believe his tweets.
The team will have to get used to practicing in this heat. For the veterans of the team, they are used to it, however newbies and rookies may have a hard time acclimating after such beautiful weather in the pines. Welcome home Cards!
