BREAKING: Bertrand Berry Retires

Arizona Cardinals defensive end Bertrand Berry announced his retirement this evening on “Big Red Rage”, his weekly radio show on 620 KTAR Sports.

I was lucky enough to be a guest audience member thanks to KTAR earlier this season and meet Mr. Berry.  He is a class act and I personally wish to thank him for all the hard work he put into his Cardinals career.

Berry, who is 34, said he has played his last professional game.  He spent the last six seasons of his career with the Cardinals.

He is the first of what is expected to be many players planning an exodus out of Arizona one way or another.
