Hoping to See Larry Fitzgerald in the End Zone at the Pro Bowl
By Scott Allen
The following information was sent to me in regards to Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who is participating in tomorrow's Pro Bowl in Hawaii. He is going to be giving $5000 to the Glendale United Way for every touchdown he scores. Please read the information I received and cheer on Larry Fitzgerald and the rest of the NFC players!
Re-posted from the communication I received:
With the Pro Bowl this weekend, Cardinal and Larry Fitzgerald fans will be tuning into Sunday’s game. If Fitzgerald can get into the end zone during the Pro Bowl, he’ll be delivering $5,000 to the local Glendale United Way chapter on behalf of Procter & Gamble’s “Touchdowns for Kids” initiative. I thought this might work as a note for this weekend’s NFL / Bears coverage.
As part of a season-long commitment to youth health and wellness, P&G is celebrating its NFL sponsorship by bringing families together and donating nearly $300,000 towards improving the lives of thousands of kids this season in its support of NFL PLAY 60, which fights against childhood obesity by encouraging kids to play for 60 minutes a day.
During the game on January 30, P&G will donate $5,000 to the United Way for every touchdown scored during the game as part of its “Touchdowns for Kids” initiative. The money will go to the local United Way chapter of the player’s hometown team, where it will help youth health and wellness programming across the nation
