Cardinals Pick Up DE Nick Eason

Well, the Arizona Cardinals are back at it.  They are off signing more Pittsburgh Steelers free agents.  This time, it is defensive end Nick Eason.  Eason is about to enter his eighth season in the NFL.  He spent his first three seasons with the Cleveland Browns.

Eason played in all 16 games last season after only playing in 8 games in 2009 after being released.  He was resigned for the 2010 season.  Last season he had 16 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

I’m not sure what the Cards plans are for him, however, it is clear Ken Whisenhunt is familiar with him if he warrants a free-agent pickup.
