New Cardinals Players Start Practice Thursday, Maybe
By Scott Allen
Hope for no rain. If there is rain at Arizona Cardinals camp on Thursday, you’ll not get to see Kevin Kolb, Todd Heap, and all the other new Cards players participate in their first practice tomorrow, of course if the new Collective Bargaining Agreement is ratified. Since fans can not go inside the Skydome at Northern Arizona University due to construction, wish for a sunny day. Practice could be very interesting on Thursday.
It’s too bad I can’t go, but I imagine there will be a lot of fans taking the day off from work to go check it out. I can just imagine Kolb’s first completed pass to Larry Fitzgerald. His first completed pass to Todd Heap should garner loud cheers. As far as I’m concerned, the Kevin Kolb era officially starts tomorrow.
It also might not be too long till either Braylon Edwards or Malcolm Floyd makes it into Cards camp. The Cards have not hidden the fact they are actively looking for a number two receiver.
