Cardinals Tweeting Game Plan Against Broncos Wouldn’t Matter

Much has been made today about the tweet Houston Texans running back Arian Foster let out today showing a link to a picture of his MRI.  I don’t know which side of the fence I am on with that one.  I get both sides.  However, I am here to say that in regards to the Arizona CardinalsDenver Broncos game tomorrow night, the Cards for all I care could tweet the entire game plan and it wouldn’t matter.  This is the most meaningless game of the year, unless you are one of the 27 people who are looking at getting cut this weekend.  80 guys are playing for 53 spots.

The real crime will be the fans who have to pay full price to attend tomorrow night’s game.  Clearly the starters will get little if any time to play at all.  The season starts next week.  No time to put your starters in harm’s way.  This is just a more energized practice for all I care.  So, as far as I’m concerned, tweet the game plan.  There is a good chance many will not be paying any attention.

Of course the Cards have many decisions to make, so no game plan will be released, however the plan will include a lot of players fighting for spots getting into the game.  This is the last chance, possibly forever although you root for everyone trying, for many players to show what they can do on an NFL football field.  It’s just a ho-hum game for the fans though.  No one will remember the outcome except for those involved in the game and win a spot on the 53-man roster because of it.
