The Arizona Cardinals face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium, 1:15pm. It might be one of the better weeks to have a Cards player on your fantasy football team. It might also be a good week to have a Panthers player on your team. You just don’t know how the Cards defense is going to perform at this point. I have more confidence in the Cards scoring than keeping the Panthers from doing the same, even with Cam Newton at the helm. So here are the players I would be looking at using if you have them this week.
Play:
Kevin Kolb – He could have a nice day against the Panthers in his debut. Should have at least a couple of touchdown passes.
Larry Fitzgerald – He will grab at least one touchdown and will be targeted many times. If you are in a point per reception league, go with him.
Todd Heap – Another good pickup if you are in a point per reception league
Don’t Play:
Cam Newton – Not until you get a chance to see him over the course of several games
Cards Defense – They may not have an impressive passing game yet, however the Panthers have proven in the recent past that they can run on the Cards.
