It looked awfully familiar. Three terrible quarters by the offense, and a fourth quarter comeback. The Cardiac Cardinals were going to tie up the game against the Bengals — and win yet another overtime thriller, right?
Wrong!
This time the Cardinals dug themselves in too big of a hole against the Bengals. And while it’s true that the botched snap at the 1-yard line (which forced the Cardinals to kick a field goal) and Early Doucet tripping over his own feet both cost the Cardinals dearly in this game, I think the game was lost with John Skelton‘s three interceptions and the Cardinals inability to score a point until it was too late.
