Arizona Cardinals Have Five Kickoff Times Pushed Back
By Scott Allen
I’m finally getting around to some of this past weeks newsworthy items in regards to the Arizona Cardinals. This week, they saw five of the games on their 2012 schedule, get new starting times due an NFL shift in allowing fans a better chance to see their teams games in entirety. I’m all for it! You see in double header situations, the NFL mandates switching to the afternoon games. By pushing late games back by 10 minutes on doubleheaders, it gives the fan a better chance to see their first game to completion.
Five of the Cardinals games were moved, including kickoff weekend against the Seattle Seahawks. The start time was moved from 1:15 to 1:25. Hey, as far as I’m concerned, let’s try to extend NFL Sunday’s as far as we can. Of course for the three home games affected, it just means getting home 10 minutes later, in theory.
The other four games:
– Nov. 25, St. Louis at Arizona, now a 2:25 p.m. kickoff;
– Dec. 23, Chicago at Arizona, now a 2:25 p.m. kickoff;
– Dec. 9, Arizona at Seattle, now a 2:25 p.m. kickoff;
– Dec. 30, Arizona at San Francisco, now a 2:25 p.m. kickoff.
