Arizona Cardinals 2012 Profile from A to Z: Ryan Bartholomew
By Scott Allen
The Arizona Cardinals offensive line as we know needs as much help as possible. Ryan Bartholomew adds depth to the offensive line. He spent last season on the sidelines after graduating from Syracuse in 2011. He had decent combine numbers in 2011. He will challenge for the backup center position.
He is a good run blocker with good hands. He has the athleticism to play in the NFL. He runs a 4.9 40. Not bad for an offensive lineman. He is also durable, something the Cards need.
The issue with Bartholomew is pass blocking. That is one of the knocks on him. One of the other things he needs to work on according to scouts is his passion for the game. If he is to make the team, that is something the Cards will desperately need from him.
