Arizona Cardinals 2012 Profile from A to Z: Jeremy Bridges

facebooktwitterreddit

Jeremy Bridges goes into his fourth consecutive season with the Arizona Cardinals in 2012.  He still hasn’t made many headlines.  That is both a good and bad thing though.  It is bad because he’s really a backup offensive lineman that was forced into some starting situations in 2011 thanks to injury. That in itself could be considered good since it gave him playing time, but going in 2012, his status is in the air.  He didn’t exactly impress much last season and he isn’t getting any younger.

Not making headlines can also be considered a good thing for Bridges with all the off-field issues he had earlier in his career.  He’s bee mostly quiet off the field since re-signing with the Cards for a second stint in 2009.

Last season he started five games for the Cards.  Improvement is key given the Cards are looking for younger and more athletic guys on the line, guys like Bobby Massie.  Time for put up or shut up from Bridges in 2012.
