It’s About to Get Real For the Arizona Cardinals
By Scott Allen
It’s almost reporting time for the Arizona Cardinals. The official reporting date for both rookies and veterans is Tuesday. First practice is on Wednesday at 3pm. They will have their Red-White scrimmage next Saturday. Enough talk (although not from me). Time for the players to report and get down to business. As we know, a lot of questions to be answered. There is a lot of mixed speculation how this team will perform this season. The experts don’t think much of the Cards, fans though are highly optimistic, even in the face of the current quarterback situation.
The Cards will practice the first week in Flagstaff and then off they go to Canton for the Hall of Fame Game against the New Orleans Saints on August 5th. They will break camp on the 3rd to travel. Then they will practice in Missouri for a week against the Kansas City Chiefs leading up to their game in Kansas City on August 11th. They will then return to Flagstaff.
The rest of the preseason schedule has them playing the Oakland Raiders at home, then the Tennessee Titans on the road on ESPN Monday Night Football. They round out the preseason schedule as usual against the Denver Broncos.
