I knew something felt different the second I woke up this morning. It was the feeling of new hope. It was the feeling of starting fresh. The Arizona Cardinals took the field this afternoon for the first time for Cards Camp 2012. What a beautiful thing to say. Today it starts. Sure, many questions are to be answered, however we have time to answer the questions, hopefully all that are accompanied with answers before the season opener on September 9th. Today though, it was about getting the chance to start over again.
It was also one year ago today the NFL voted to end the lockout. Can you believe it has been a year? Even with the end of the lockout, it still had to become official and the Cards didn’t take the field until August. They will get six days of camp this year before the calendar turns to August. Ask any coach, every day counts.
The Cards are still out on the field right now, however we should hear from coach Ken Whisenhunt soon on his thoughts on day one of camp. Stay tuned for more to come.
