The Hall of Fame game featuring the Arizona Cardinals against the New Orleans Saints is only days away, and it does bring back memories of the Cardinals playoff game against the Saints in the 2009-2010 season.

The Cardinals were coming off what arguably could be called the most dramatic win in franchise history–a thrilling overtime victory against the Green Bay Packers.  And the game against the Saints started out amazingly well–on the very first playoff scrimmage, Tim Hightower took the ball into the end zone on a 70-yard gallop, and the Cardinals were ahead 7-0.  Cardinals fans throughout the country (including myself) were thinking to themselves, “Wow, we could really be going to the Super Bowl again this year!”
