Time for the Arizona Cardinals Defense to Step Up

Yes, I know that it’s only preseason and these games don’t count.  And I know that it sometimes takes a couple of weeks for a unit to work out the kinks.  But judging how the Cardinals starting defense played the last two games, the team may be in for a very long season.

They didn’t tackle…their run defense was horrendous…the pass coverage was equally poor.  They basically allowed the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs to have their way with them in the first two preseason games. Truthfully, the second stringers played a whole better than the starters!
