Arizona Cardinals Continue to Trail Tennessee Titans 23-13 at End of Third

The second half was supposed to be the momentum carrier from the end of the first half for the Arizona Cardinals when they drove down the field and scored to bring the game to a 17-10 Tennessee Titans lead at halftime.  Very first play of the second half quarterback Kevin Kolb throws a pick-six.  You have to wonder what he was thinking there however he came back out and played better on the next drive.

The offensive line once again gave no help to Kolb and this was the first team offensive line against the Titans second team defense.  Kolb did show some pocket presence though and that was nice to see, although it would have been nice to see more of it.

I think I saw enough good things from Kolb to keep him from not losing the starting job.  Kolb has received the much longer look tonight and there is a reason for that.  Clearly the Cards want Kolb to gran the reins and run with it.  It is what I had hope the Cards would have let Kolb do last week against the Oakland Raiders. Ryan Lindley came in to finish off the quarter at quarterback for the Cards.   Also a shout out to running back William Powell who ran the ball hard.  He very well could make this 53-man roster.

Now on to the fourth quarter.
