We’ll only be able to celebrate the win over the Miami Dolphins tonight. The Arizona Cardinals have a short week this week in preparation for their Thursday Night Football game against the St. Louis Rams in St. Louis. Just a couple of days to practice before heading to the Midwest.
It might be a good thing for the Cards to have this short turnaround. Yes, the Cards won, but a lot of negative things that have the ability to linger for the Cards won’t be able to because they will have to forget this game fast and prepare for the Rams.
It could also be a bad thing given there are a number of things the Cards have to improve upon but in the Cardinals I trust. The things that need to be worked on are not so bad they can’t take a work in progress into a game in St. Louis in just four short days. The things they have to work on, like pass protection, running the ball, pass defense, are all things that may end up being a work in progress for weeks. As long as they are winning, then it all really doesn’t matter, does it?
