Although it’s a short week, and the Arizona Cardinals have to travel to St. Louis for a Thursday night showdown, the team should not feel too bad about their opponent for this game.

The Cardinals have dominated the Rams in recent play, winning 10 of their last 11 matchups against them.  The only recent loss came in the 2010 season.

Kurt Warner always loved playing against the Rams, saving some of his best games against his former team.

Many Cardinals fans will remember that the Cardinals clinched a playoff spot in 2008 against the Rams, with a 99-yard Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie interception for a touchdown sealing the deal.

And who can forget last year’s dramatic win against the Rams, when Calais Campbell blocked a potential game-winning field goal and Patrick Peterson returned a punt for a game-winning touchdown in overtime.

Thursday night’s game promises to be an exciting game between two NFC West teams trying to prove to doubters that they are better than folks believe they are. We will soon see who comes out on top…
