If the reports are true, the Arizona Cardinals are about to get one of the best non-head coaches in the NFL added to their staff. Tom Moore, Peyton Manning’s long time coach, is reportedly on his way to Arizona to be the assistant head coach-offense. This is an excellent addition to the offensive staff. Clearly, the Cardinals are serious about getting the offense turned around, starting at quarterback.
I love this hire. I know not everyone is excited about the hire of Bruce Arians as head coach, however if he is able to bring Moore with him, it is a major coup for the Cardinals. Moore brings a ton of experience and knowledge of the quarterback position.
Also reportedly joining the fray will be Tom Pratt as the assistant head coach-defense. He is known for his coaching of the pass rush. The Cardinals led the NFL with 58 sacks during this past season. Another good day to be an Arizona Cardinals fan.
