The time has finally come. We’ve known since the end of December who the Arizona Cardinals would play and where for the 2013 season. Now we know the when. It’s the seventh-toughest schedule in the NFL this year. Attached below is the schedule as released by the NFL this afternoon. The Cards will open the season on the road at the St. Louis Rams. I will break it down game-by-game, including predictions here shortly. For now, here is the schedule.
Sept 8, 2013 – @St. Louis Rams
Sept 15, 2013 – Detroit Lions
Sept 22, 2013 – @New Orleans Saints
Sept 29, 2013 – @Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Oct 6, 2013 – Carolina Panthers
Oct 13, 2013 – @San Francisco 49’ers
Oct 17, 2013 (Thurs) – Seattle Seahawks
Oct 27, 2013 – Atlanta Falcons
Nov 3, 2013 – BYE
Nov 10, 2013 – Houston Texans
Nov 17, 2013 – @Jacksonville Jaguars
Nov 24, 2013 – Indianapolis Colts
Dec 1, 2013 – @Philadelphia Eagles
Dec 8, 2013 – St. Louis Rams
Dec 15, 2013 – @Tennessee Titans
Dec 22, 2013 – @Seattle Seahawks
Dec 29, 2013 – San Francisco 49’ers
So, it appears the NFL is no fan of the Cardinals, giving them three of their first four games of the season on the road. It’s not an easy road either, having to go through St. Louis, New Orleans, and Tampa Bay in September. They do get one break, having three home games around the time of their bye week. Stay tuned for a further breakdown of this year’s Cards schedule coming up.
