Nov 25, 2012; Cleveland, OH, USA; Cleveland Browns linebacker Craig Robertson (53) is tackled by Pittsburgh Steelers tackle Max Starks (78) after recovering a fumble.

The Arizona Cardinals have done a lot to improve the offensive line, but extra depth is always welcome.

According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, the Cardinals could add more depth on the offensive line. Free agent tackle Max Starks is reportedly considering the Cardinals, which would help add a veteran presence to a young line. Bobby Massie, Earl Watford, Jonathan Cooper, Nate Potter and Scott Weidge are all very young, and adding depth to the league’s worst line in 2012 wouldn’t hurt.

Starks weighs 345 pounds and is 6’8″, so he can take on big defensive tackles. If the highly-regarded veteran is signed by the Cardinals, he will start at one of the tackle positions. Starks’ size makes him an idea candidate to protect Palmer’s blind side, which is key. Expect Arizona to continue to address the line by pursuing Starks.
