A lot of people are happy with the Arizona Cardinals’ offseason, and that includes ESPN.
Matt Williamson graded the moves each team made in the offseason, and the Cardinals earned the highest grade in the NFC. Arizona has made a lot of changes this offseason, as it added a new coach, a new general manager, a new quarterback, a new running back and more.
Arizona made moves at every position it needed to upgrade, as the team added about 50 new players. The defense ranked 12th in the NFL last season, but the team fired Ray Horton for Todd Bowles, who is a better fit for Darnell Dockett, Calais Campbell and the defense.
After a miserable 5-11 season, the Cardinals had an abundance of holes. Luckily for the team, general manager Steve Keim found some talented players, and he and coach Bruce Arians are ready to lead the team far.
And this offseason was just the first step.
