Freddie Kitchens’ recovery is progressing faster than expected.
According to NFL.com’s Ian Rappoport, Kitchens, Arizona’s quarterbacks coach, is walking. Kitchens was hospitalized last week and underwent surgery to repair a defect in his aorta, one that could have been fatal.
Kitchens will likely return in training camp. The Cardinals are just happy that Kitchens is alive, because he came close to dying. Now, he’s walking.
