The Arizona Cardinals have released their first depth chart, and it may turn a few heads.
According to Darren Urban of azcardinals.com, John Abraham is listed as the third-string weak-side linebacker and Daryl Washington is listed as the third-string middle linebacker. Washington received a drug suspension, which cost the linebacker with 134 tackles last season positioning on the depth chart.
Abraham, who posted a stellar 10 sacks last season, will likely see time on pass-rushing downs, but he will have to prove himself. He signed in late July, so he will need to prove himself first. He should see a good amount of playing time, though.
Jerraud Powers is listed as a starting cornerback alongside Patrick Peterson, which is a bit surprising. However, there aren’t many other surprises.
