Quarterbacks Kevin Kolb and John Skelton are both in familiar territory as both have been taken off of the 53 man rosters of their current teams.

The reasons for their departures are all too familiar, Kevin Kolb and the word hurt go hand and hand, and the word inconsistent and John Skelton work in harmony.

Today the Cincinnati Bengals released John Skelton and his chances of being picked up by another team may be getting as slim as his ex teammate Kevin Kolb, who is back where he is most comfortable, on the injured reserve list and out for another season.

Regardless of his ambitions to continue his career, it would be safe to say that his days in the NFL may be coming to an abrupt end.

These two players are the same quarterbacks they were last year in Arizona so based on that we will wait and see the finishing result, which should be with us as spectators watching the NFL as fans and not players.
