The Arizona Cardinals released their injury report for this Sunday’s game at the St. Louis Rams.  Two players of note for the Cards on the list.  Tight end Rob Housler has been ruled out for the game and defensive end Calais Campbell has been ruled questionable.

Housler, when approached by media, said his status was news to him.  Makes me wonder if he was told he may play?  My best guess there was a miscommunication.  Maybe it was a message being sent by head coach Bruce Arians?  Who knows?  Either way, Housler is out and it comes as no surprise at all.

As for Campbell, that is a little bit of a surprise.  He has had a knack of getting those “quiet” injuries and then miss games.  Here we go again.  He had his thigh hit in practice by a teammate and missed practice today.  His questionable status without practicing today has me leaning towards him not playing.  He will be missed if he truly can’t go on Sunday.

As for the rest of the injury report, nothing glaring.  Receiver Andre Roberts was the only player listed as probable and was limited in practice today.  Running back Rashard Mendenhall had been limited all week until today when he was a full participant in practice.  Same goes for running back Andre Ellington.  He was limited earlier in the week and went full today.
