The Arizona Cardinals did not escape some big names from making the injury report on Friday for this Sunday’s upcoming game with the Detroit Lions at University of Phoenix Stadium.  Included on the list is receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

Fitz was limited in practice all week and word was his didn’t look that great.  He is nursing a hamstring injury.  On Thursday he said he’d be ready to go and on Friday Cards head coach Bruce Arians also said Fitz would be ready to go.  How much of that is gamesmanship?  We’ll find out on Sunday.  He is officially listed as questionable.

Also making the report for the second week in a row was tight end Rob Housler.  He has been officially ruled out once again this Sunday.  Also reported as questionable is linebacker Lorenzo Alexander.  Alexander is fighting a biceps injury that has limited him all week in practice.

What is even more worrisome about Fitz’s health is that he isn’t the only receiver to make the injury report.  Andre Roberts has a quad issue, however he participated in a full practice both Thursday and Friday.  He is listed as probable.

Running back Rashard Mendenhall is also listed as probable.  He was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but went full on Friday.  Other probables include linebacker John Abraham and defensive tackle Darnell Dockett.
