The Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers have announced their inactives.  Cardinals safety Rashad Johnson is amongst the inactives for the second consecutive week.

Also inactive for the Cards:

LB Jasper Brinkley, TE D.C. Jefferson, QB Ryan Lindley, RB Ryan Williams, WR Kerry Taylor, T Bobby Massie

This means the Cards get LB Kevin Minter back.  They will need him with the absence of Brinkley.  Of course the Cards also get LB Daryl Washington back today.  That is huge.  Running back Ryan Williams is inactive, again.  At this point they might be better served just cutting him.  I’m not sure why they continue with the charade with him on the roster.  He has not been active at all this season.

The inactives for the Panthers:

DE Frank Alexander, DT Dwan Edwards, LB Ben Jacobs, SS Quintin Mikell, CB D.J. Moore, CB Josh Norman, TE Brandon Williams

Back to the Cards though, it is interesting to see who is inactive and not injured.  Williams is one of them.  So is Kerry Taylor.  Taylor has not played since week two against the Detroit.  Bobby Massie also has seen a lot placement on the inactive list.  Neither are injured. Brinkley is and he will be missed as he’s played very well going back to the preseason.  It will need to be a big day for Minter and Washington.
