According to Heat Waved, Fansided’s Phoenix fan site, they are reporting that NJ.com is reporting that the Arizona Cardinals game against the Philadelphia Eagles is going to be flexed to Sunday Night Football in two weeks.  The announcement may come Monday night or Tuesday.  The game currently scheduled is the New York Giants and Washington Redskins.

Honestly this would not come a huge shocker with both teams well in the hunt for the playoffs.  Of course it would be nice for it to mean a little something more with the Cards beating the Indianapolis Colts next week.  The Eagles don’t play again until that game on December 1st.  They have a bye in week 12.

All I would ask is for the Cards not to embarrass themselves.  Things seem to be headed in the right direction offensively and the defense, although they started slow on Sunday against the Jags, well they’ve been the heart of this team to date.  For this to be the game that is flexed tells me the Cards are getting some notice around the league.

Quarterback Carson Palmer is finally starting to click with this offense.  He failed to be intercepted for the first time all season today.  Yes, I am aware he was intercepted and it was nixed but the fact is, he didn’t throw one that counted.  At this point we don’t know if Nick Foles or Michael Vick will be playing.  Right now, I honestly don’t care.  Nothing matters to me unless the Cards come out and prove they can beat a very good team in Andrew Luck and the Colts.

Stay tuned and we’ll see if this report comes true or not.  Looking at the slate of games on December 1st, only Denver at Kansas City would probably considered the more attractive game.  Since  are playing each other tonight on Sunday Night Football, that isn’t a possibility.
