Week 13 is a wrap and there are just four games remaining for all 32 teams . With just a month to go in the season, we are beginning to see which teams are in the playoff hunt and who needs to be focused on rebuilding in next year’s draft.
The NFL Draft order heading in to Week 14 is now set (you can view the draft order here), so we know where every team would be selection if the season were to end today. Currently the Arizona Cardinals would be selecting 23rd, not a usual spot for this organization.
Knowing all this now, it’s time to look at who the network has the Cardinals taking.
With the 23rd pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the Cardinals select Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee. It is not much of a stretch to think the Cards will be looking for an offensive lineman again, especially given their current standing in the draft order.
"Arizona’s offensive line could still use some improvement on the edges, so adding Tennessee offensive tackle Antonio Richardson could prove to be a worthy investment."
I can’t really disagree there. Even during this last 3-1 stretch of the the Cardinals 2013 schedule, they have proven they are definitely still a work in progress around those edges. Not a bad choice at 23.
