The Arizona Cardinals injury report didn’t get a whole lot better on Thursday over Wednesday’s report but it did look slightly better.  At least quarterback Carson Palmer and receiver Michael Floyd participated in practice on a limited basis as they get ready for their game this Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.

The Cards also saw tight ends Jim Dray and Rob Housler return to full participation in practice.  They had been limited on Wednesday.  Arizona Cardinals offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin talked to arizonasports.com and wouldn’t discuss the elbow injury to Palmer.

Running back Andre Ellington was still limited on Thursday.  As I mentioned yesterday, this is still no indication as to what will happen with him on Sunday, however with the production Rashard Mendenhall provided in his absence last week, I would imagine the Cards are not going to rush him back at this point if they don’t have to.

As for Palmer, he has started every game this season.  The Cards will need him on Sunday, so even with his limited practice participation on Thursday, I fully expect him to be out there on Sunday.  The Cards didn’t seem too concerned about him Thursday, so none of us should be either.
