The Arizona Cardinals allowing the Tennessee Titans to come back in the fourth quarter yesterday in the 37-24 overtime victory may be costly this Sunday when it comes to the services of receiver Larry Fitzgerald.  Fitz was on the good hands team on the successful Titans onside kick late in the fourth quarter when he took a shot to the head.  It has led to a possible concussion.

As of Monday, Fitz passed his first set of concussion tests but according to Cards head coach Bruce Arians he still has a long way to go in order to be cleared for this Sunday’s game at the Seattle Seahawks.  However, this is probably the most encouraging news we could have expected after the debacle at the end of regulation.

I’ve seen people ask why do you put your number one receiver on onside kicks and in a position like that?  I don’t have an issue.  They are called the “hands team”.  You consider your receivers your best hands on the team.  Of course, we all know what great hands Fitz has.  You aren’t going to get ’em all though.

For now, I’m not going to worry about his availability until we know more towards the end of the week.  Tomorrow is the team’s off day, so we should know more come Wednesday.
