The Arizona Cardinals 2014 schedule has been released. After weeks of anticipation, the NFL finally revealed all of the regular season games scheduled for the 2014 season. The Cards schedule includes six divisional games against the NFC West, four against the AFC West, four against the NFC East, and one each against the third place finisher in the NFC South and NFC North.
The Cards have the eighth strongest schedule in the NFL in 2014. You can thank the Seattle Seahawks twice, San Francisco 49ers twice, the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, and San Diego Chargers for that. Plus you have what should be tough games against the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, New York Giants and the up and coming St. Louis Rams twice. Let’s not also forget the Oakland Raiders.
The season starts on Thursday September 4th in Seattle as it should. They are the defending Super Bowl Champions and it is nice to see that kickoff game back in the home town of the winning Super Bowl team. Last year the Baltimore Ravens had to start defense of their 2013 title on the road. There is no such conflict this season.
