The NFC West is establishing itself as a power house division that know one in the league will want to play against, today the San Francisco 49ers up graded their wide receiver position adding the 27 year old star from the Buffalo Bills Stevie Johnson.

The trade gives the Bills a conditional fourth-round draft pick that can escalate to a third-rounder.  This move makes sense after the Bills picked up the number one receiver in the draft on Thursday night getting Sammy Watkins out of Clemson.

What does this mean for the Arizona Cardinals?  It may mean that they have to counter that move and add a big name player of their own. To do so they may have to get this player by trade as well because the draft may not have a guaranteed star that can come right in and contribute.

Regardless to what happens the Cardinals need to be proactive and be ready to counter the moves of the division opponents, as stated before this division is going to be “a knock down drag out fight” this year.

Stay tuned for a complete article of all four teams in the NFC West and we’ll make a prediction as to which team will win it this season.
