As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands. We start off with outside linebacker John Abraham.
The 2013 season: Abraham had a re-birth of sorts in the desert in 2013. He ended up with 11.5 sacks, including a safety last season and also forced four fumbles. That’s a hitter. He was definitely a surprise at 35.
The 2014 season: I think because of his age there will always be a question of how much can he give? He’s 36 now but he gave little indication last season he was nearing the end. Maybe that thought was more prevalent after the 2012 season. His 11.5 sacks last season were the most he’d had since 2010. I still see a huge upswing in his game. The Cards will need him.
