As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.  Next up is center/guard Philip Blake.

2013 season:  Blake spent the season on the practice squad for the Cardinals.  He originally was drafted out of Baylor by the Denver Broncos in 2012 but never played a regular season game for them.  Same for the Cardinals held true in 2013.

2014 season: I really look at Blake as a body for the camp roster.  I think having spent time last season on the Cardinals practice squad certainly gives him experience with the playbook, however he has yet to play in a regular season game.  The Cards are pretty solid at center right now but he could play a backup role at guard.  He was all Big 12 in 2011 so I can’t see any reason why he can’t show us something at least in the preseason.
